Shamrock Heating & Air Conditioning recognized as BCIT’s Business Partner of the Year

Burlington Co 2023 BPOY is Shamrock Heating & Air ConditioningThe Vincentown-based Shamrock Heating & Air Conditioning team is committed to supporting and educating Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) students. For more than 20 years, Shamrock Heating & Air Conditioning employees have donated their time and company resources to help BCIT students reach their potential and thrive in the HVAC field. This long-time support has earned the company BCIT’s designation as the 2023 Business Partner of the Year. 

One of the most significant ways Shamrock Heating & Air Conditioning has impacted student training is by participating in BCIT’s Work-Based Learning program. The company provides students with hands-on experiences in a real-world work environment and has even hired dozens of these students to join their team. These BCIT graduates continue to be successfully employed by Shamrock and help contribute to the company’s continued growth. 

“Shamrock Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., has been an invaluable partner in our Work-Based Learning program for over two decades,” said BCIT Cooperative Education Coordinator, John Demree.  “Their commitment goes beyond offering on-site experiences; they actively engage with our program advisory meetings, providing crucial insights that have been instrumental in shaping the growth and relevance of our program.” 

The value Shamrock Heating & Air Conditioning places on education is also evident through its development of its own people. Many Shamrock technicians have attended the BCIT Adult Education program for additional HVACR, Plumbing, and Electrical trades training. This educational investment enhances the technicians’ skills and fosters continuous learning and professional advancement.

The ceremony included the official presentation of keys to the new homeowner, marking the start of a new chapter for the family.
