Salem County 2022 BPOYSalem County Vocational Technical School District has recognized Haddon Culinary for providing invaluable support for students in the Culinary and Pastry Arts programs. The chef-driven market and caterer, based in Collingswood, is Salem Tech’s 2022 Business Partner of the Year.

“For two years, our Culinary and Pastry Arts programs have partnered with Haddon Culinary in an Oktoberfest event to raise money for the ALS Association,” said Chef Bruce Connell, Pastry Arts instructor. “Chef Joe Muldoon and Chef James Liuzza and their staff travel to Salem Tech to assist our students in preparing the food and desserts for the event.”

On the day of the event, students experience the fast-paced atmosphere of preparing food and serving customers while raising money for a good cause.

“Haddon Culinary has been very generous to my students,” added Connell. “Chef Joe gives his time and talents to share his experiences. Without a doubt, our program is stronger through our involvement with Haddon Culinary.”

Chef Muldoon also hosted the school’s Program Advisory Committee for a demonstration dinner and spoke about the responsibilities of owning his own business.

“We love working with the students at Salem Tech,” said Muldoon, executive chef and owner of Haddon Culinary. “My staff and I were very impressed with their culinary skills as well as their willingness to raise funds for the ALS Association through their service-learning project. We very much look forward to continuing our relationship with the Culinary and Pastry Arts students.”
