Employers help train students for in-demand careers (NJBIZ)
Nearly 4,000 professionals partner with New Jersey county vocational-technical schools to help prepare the next generation to enter their respective industries. They share their “wish lists” with the schools and offer their insight on how to help students hone the technical and professional skills on the lists.
Record number of New Jersey vocational-technical high school students earn an associate degree
New Jersey county vocational-technical schools have set a new record with 337 students from the Class of 2025 earning an associate degree while in high school.
New Jersey is upgrading and expanding vo-tech high schools (WHYY)
The Burlington County Institute of Technology in Medford recently unveiled its renovated welding and heating, ventilation and cooling system shops, and a new video game design lab. About 17 miles down the road, the Camden County Technical School’s Pennsauken Campus expanded its culinary arts program. These are just two projects across the state that have benefitted from a 2018 bond measure that appropriated $275 million to expand county vocational schools and their programs.
