Jackie Burke, executive director of the New Jersey Council of County Vocational-Technical Schools (NJCCVTS) has been named to ROI-NJ’s Power List: 2024 for Associations & Organizations.
The publication honored Burke and the NJCCVTS for “actively recruiting, teaching and training the next-generation workforce.”

This year, New Jersey county vocational-technical school students earned 17 national SkillsUSA medals, six of them gold. These results are a testament to a high school learning environment that supports students in discovering and pursuing their passions. Gopal has taken the time to understand the value of CTE and become a well-informed advocate for county vocational-technical schools
Jack Swain is the newest president of the New Jersey Council of County Vocational-Technical Schools (NJCCVTS). As superintendent of Salem County Vocational Technical School District, he has spent the last 13 years immersed in career and technical education (CTE) and seeing its value firsthand in each student’s success story.
