Jackie Burke, executive director of the New Jersey Council of County Vocational-Technical Schools (NJCCVTS) has been named to ROI-NJ’s Power List: 2024 for Associations & Organizations.
The publication honored Burke and the NJCCVTS for “actively recruiting, teaching and training the next-generation workforce.”

Dominic Roberts, a Galloway Twp. native, has danced on the stages of well-known theaters, including Carnegie Hall, New York City Center, Ailey Citigroup Theater, Henry J. Leir Stage and many more. But the Performing Arts Center at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology (ACIT) is the theater that holds some of Roberts’ most cherished memories.
Robert Timberman, a Woodstown native, began his path into the construction industry while enrolled in the Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) program at Salem County Vocational School District (SCVTS). A 2006 graduate, Timberman says the technical foundation he built in high school continues to shape his career in the construction trades.
Michael Coscia, a Paterson native, began his career in the electrical trade while enrolled in the Electrical program at Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI), part of the Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools. A 1974 graduate, Coscia said the hands-on education he received stuck with him and eventually motivated him to support future generations in their career and technical education (CTE) as an advisor and president of the district’s board of education.
