Camden County Technical Schools honored Jill Townsend, the owner of Square One Inc., as its 2020 Business Partner of the Year.

The award is given annually to a county vocational-technical school business partner for outstanding contributions to career and technical education. Business partners play a variety of roles, including serving on county vocational technical school program advisory boards, offering opportunities for students to gain valuable work experience, donating equipment, or serving as mentors and role models for students.

Established in 1993, Square One is a family owned communications company in Mt. Laurel, that provides printing, direct mail/fulfillment services, digital marketing, graphic arts services, production and more to thousands of businesses in South Jersey, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas.

“CCTS is proud to partner with Ms. Townsend and Square One,” said CCTS Superintendent Patricia E. Fitzgerald. “For over a decade, she has been an active member of our advisory board, and a mentor to our graphic arts and graphic communications students by providing extended tours of her company and lessons in new technologies and trends in the field so our curriculum remains current. She has also employed our graduates.”
