Jackie Burke, executive director of the New Jersey Council of County Vocational-Technical Schools (NJCCVTS) has been named to ROI-NJ’s Power List: 2024 for Associations & Organizations.
The publication honored Burke and the NJCCVTS for “actively recruiting, teaching and training the next-generation workforce.”

Recognizing the benefit to his business and the overall automotive industry as well as current students preparing to enter the industry, John O’Connor, owner of Shade Tree Garage in Morristown, built a partnership with the Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School (SCVTHS) Auto-Diesel program. Such efforts have earned O’Connor and Shade Tree Garage the district’s 2024 Business Partner of the Year honor.
For more than 15 years, County Line Auto Body and OC Automotive Resources has been a valued partner of Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS), playing a critical role in ensuring both Automotive Technology and Collision Repair students are prepared to find success in the industry. The years of support and dedication to training the next generation earned County Line the title of OCVTS’ 2024 Business Partner of the Year.
Cooper University Health Care, based in Camden, has welcomed students from the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program at Camden County Technical Schools (CCTS) for work-based learning opportunities. This onsite learning program was facilitated by Antoinette Fugee, workplace development consultant for Cooper. Her efforts earned both her and Cooper the title of CCTS’ 2024 Business Partner of the Year.
