U.S. News & World Report Best Public High Schools Ranked

Two of the top-ranked high schools – High Technology High School and Edison Academy Magnet School – are also within the U.S. Top 50 high schools. High Tech High ranked #24 nationally, and Edison Academy ranked #42 nationally. Both of these schools are county vocational-technical schools and join five additional NJ county vocational-technical schools ranked in the top 100 nationally. Furthermore, these impressive county vocational-technical schools make up nine of the top 10 New Jersey high schools. Additional county vocational-technical schools are on the list of the top 25 New Jersey high schools.

The top 25 high schools (with county vocational-technical schools in bold) in New Jersey are:

Contemporary dancer Anna Gichan has enthralled many worldwide with her phenomenal performances, including Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle. Gichan had the honor to perform for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when the ensemble she dances with, based in Berkley, Calif., was invited to participate in the Invictus Games’ opening ceremony in Germany in 2023.
