Several public high schools in New Jersey are among the best in the country, according to a new ranking from U.S. News & World Report.

Two of the top-ranked high schools – High Technology High School and Edison Academy Magnet School – are also within the U.S. Top 50 high schools. High Tech High ranked #24 nationally, and Edison Academy ranked #42 nationally. Both of these schools are county vocational-technical schools and join five additional NJ county vocational-technical schools ranked in the top 100 nationally. Furthermore, these impressive county vocational-technical schools make up nine of the top 10 New Jersey high schools. Additional county vocational-technical schools are on the list of the top 25 New Jersey high schools.
