Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy Celebrated by Morris County Vocational School District as 2025 Business Partner of the Year

December 4, 2025

Ivy Rehab named Morris County Vocational School Districts 2025 Business partner of the year.

For more than five years, Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy in Randolph has partnered with Morris County Vocational School District to provide students with learning opportunities in real-world healthcare settings. Through such experiences, students gain valuable skills and knowledge for career success. In recognition of the company’s dedication to helping students prepare for their futures, the district has named Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy as its 2025 Business Partner of the Year.

Kyle Reavy, a physical therapist at the Randolph location, and Michele Lovetere, clinical director at the Whippany location, provide internships with Ivy Rehab for Morris County Vocational students enrolled in the Academy for Health Care Sciences, Academy for Sports Medicine, Academy for Performing Arts and the Shared-Time Exercise Science program.

“I value having interns from Morris County Vocational School District in our clinic because they bring curiosity, energy and an eagerness to learn,” Reavey said. “Having students here enriches the patient experience while giving the interns a chance to grow through authentic clinical experiences.”

According to Mary Hammond, the work-based learning coordinator at Morris County Vocational School District, the district’s partnership with Ivy Rehab is dynamic given the company’s growing network of outpatient physical, occupational, speech and ABA therapy clinics. With several locations and types of therapies provided, Ivy Rehab can accommodate a significant number of district students eager to further their learning and explore career options in healthcare.

“The mentors and staff at Ivy Rehab welcome our students and provide great experiences and skill sets,” said Hammond. “Our students are afforded the opportunity to learn all areas of the organization. Ivy Rehab allows our students to interact with patients as well as assist in patient treatments. The experience received at Ivy Rehab both elevates the students’ communication skills and clinical knowledge.”

Over the past few years, New Jersey’s county vocational-technical schools have added or expanded 81 career programs and completed 21 construction projects, increasing capacity by 13.5% and serving more than 4,700 additional students in high-demand fields. Funded by the $275 million Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act, the expansion addressed strong student demand, with nearly 2.5 applicants per available seat in 2018, and growing workforce needs.
