During Career and Technical Education Month in February, the New Jersey Council on County Vocational Technical Schools is highlighting successful graduates of the county’s 21 vocational technical schools.

Nicole DeAngelis is a 2016 graduate of Hunterdon County Polytech’s animal science program. She continued her education at the Vet Tech Institute in the veterinary technician program.

“I was a student at Hunterdon County Polytech during a difficult time in my life. Going to Polytech was one of the things I looked forward to during the day. My education during this program helped me decide on what I wanted to do for my career and how I could achieve it. Without this program I wouldn’t be where I am today, saving lives.”
